Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of RingTrade's AI call-answering service ("Service") provided by RingTrade ("we", "us", or "our"). By signing up for the pilot programme or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

The Service is available exclusively to UK-based gas engineers who hold a valid Gas Safe registration. By signing up, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years old
• You hold a valid Gas Safe registration number
• The information you provide is accurate and up to date

2. The Pilot Programme

Access to the pilot programme is free of charge and limited to a select number of participants. We reserve the right to:

• Limit the number of pilot participants
• End the pilot programme at any time with reasonable notice
• Modify features or functionality during the pilot period

The free pilot does not guarantee future access to the Service or any particular pricing after the pilot ends.

3. How the Service Works

RingTrade uses AI technology to answer incoming phone calls on your behalf when you are unable to pick up. The AI will:

• Answer calls in a professional manner
• Collect the caller's name, contact details, address, and job description
• Send booking confirmations via WhatsApp to you and the caller

While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated responses may occasionally contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and confirming all bookings.

4. Your Responsibilities

As a user of RingTrade, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and current contact details
• Review bookings made by the AI promptly
• Honour confirmed bookings or contact the customer directly to reschedule
• Use the Service only for legitimate gas engineering work
• Not misuse or attempt to reverse-engineer the AI system

5. Limitation of Liability

RingTrade is provided "as is" during the pilot period. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for missed calls, incorrect bookings, or communication failures
• We are not responsible for any loss of business, revenue, or profits arising from use of the Service
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid for the Service (which during the free pilot is £0)

6. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, AI technology, and software associated with RingTrade remain our exclusive property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

7. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described therein.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by contacting us. We may also suspend or terminate your access if:

• You breach these Terms
• Your Gas Safe registration is revoked or expires
• We discontinue the Service

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or WhatsApp. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
